1988 was the last year that AMC existed, and l recently got an Eagle cheap.Their was only one key with it, and the key broke off in the ignition; first l need to get the old key out and l will need to get a new key.The key l have (the broken one) is a copy, so it does not have any codes on it.

Where can I get a ignition key for my 1988 AMC Eagle

I think there is only one solution. All you have to do is call a locksmith, they will come to you, remove the broken key and they can make a key from your ignition. My cousin had her keys stolen on Christmas Day and she had to do this very same thing. However it will probably be around $100. Hope this helps
